FIRST ISSUE: ARTISTS OPEN CALL ON COMMUNITY

Le Imposter Atelier is an artist-run art atelier. This first issue is an independent, ad-free printed publication on the topic of community. Artists are invited to interpret, express, and share their views on community. What is it and what could it be, what kind of community do we need? Do you long for community, or do you know which community you belong to? community, community, community.

Topic: Community

Eligibility: Artists are welcome to submit their work in any medium: painting, drawing, text in any format including poetry. Installation, textile, photography, digital art, or performance (jpg + link to video). International eligibility, meaning artists from everywhere in the world are invited to submit. Artists submitting work in any language are encouraged to apply with a translation to English. When submitting your artwork please include a short bio (250 characters), and the specific location (city, country) where the work was created. At Le Imposter Atelier it's not about where you are from or think you are from but about how specific places and cultures have influenced your work. Artworks should not have been published before. Artists can submit up to 2 artworks but only 1 will be eligible for publication. Artists should be at least 18 years old to apply.

Distribution: Le Imposter Atelier first printed issue will be distributed to selected art galleries, and book venues.
